As something of an Alpine institution, Dicks Tea Bar is the biggest and best-known nightclub in the French Alps, and certainly the best of the bars in Val D'Isere. Often imitated, but never the same. Opened in 1979 and now under new ownership, the club has undergone an intensive refurbishment that brings with it a completely new layout and look. The cocktail bar is its centrepiece, with 1,000 people per day flocking to it each and every day. New on the drinks menu is Dicks Ice Tea - the alcohol-laden, electric blue version of the Lond Island Ice Tea - and the Ski Boot, a four-litre vodka cocktail served up in a ceramic ski boot. With a great location near the Solaise lift, it's pretty much impossible to walk past it after a day on the slopes.
